Success vs Health - Does it have to be a choice?

Beautiful Money Story

Welcome into 2017! I know some of you have chosen new habits to build in the new year, maybe made some resolutions to support your health and wealth, or planned some personal experiments.

When choosing where to invest our time and energy we have to be brutally honest with ourselves. There is a finite number of hours each day and lots of ideas, people and projects that require our energy. If you don’t make choices aligned with your true priorities and values, the environment will force choices upon you.

Over 2016 I made some difficult choices about work, health, money, and my commitments. It was the most rewarding and interesting year and at times it was very, very scary to make those choices and commitments. I know that many other women face fear when making decisions about their time and energy. It is easy to get caught up in saying YES to things that drain you, to let people-pleasing drive you, and to put up with self-sabotage just because you are not your priority.

So I thought it would be helpful to share an inspiring example of a woman who made many scary, difficult choices, who overcame a burnout at work and created a thriving business that she loves, who had 4 kids and wrote 2 books at the same time, who runs marathons and maintains a spiritual practice.

Leanne Jacobs is an internationally recognized holistic wealth expert who helps clients around the world cultivate the daily habits that lead to optimal wealth and wellbeing. I hope you enjoy an interview I did with her on finding your 4 pillars, living aligned with your true values even if it is scary, and clearing space so you can live a truly wealthy life without sacrificing your health.

Leanne’s work is about teaching clients how to create wealth in an authentic, joyful and mindful way. She teaches clients how to become their own lifestyle architect and begin creating their greatest life. Leanne’s philosophy is that true wealth is an inside job, which is why she focuses on inside-out wealth creation strategies. She believes that authenticity, self-esteem, and heart-centered living are often untapped wealth magnets. She helps clients transform (or subtlety shift) their inner landscape to align with joy, prosperity and their greatest desires. She helps clients create the clarity, focus and persistence required to create Beautiful Money.

Before launching her own business in 2004, Leanne worked for several Fortune 500 companies in sales and marketing roles, including Johnson & Johnson, Nike, DuPont, and L’Oreal. She has a MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biomedical Toxicology from University of Guelph. In addition to her academic credentials, Leanne is also certified as a clinical nutritionist, yoga and pilates instructor.

Leanne’s guidance and programs have been featured in both online and traditional print media throughout North America. As one of the top direct selling experts internationally, Leanne also mentors clients working in that industry who want to create global six and seven figure businesses.

Leanne just released her second book – BEAUTIFUL MONEY

Most of us know what it feels like to chase success and money. We believe that pounding our way through our days is the only way to prosperity and success. We sacrifice time with our loved ones, our weekends, our vacations, and perhaps even our sanity, in exchange for a paycheck. We put ourselves and our health at the bottom of our priority list and give everything to the great pursuit. We want to have it all, but don’t find satisfaction in any of our achievements. Instead, we find ourselves sitting in our offices and big houses feeling unhappy, broke, burnt out, and unfulfilled. Beautiful Money offers another option.

This book does more than show readers how to make more money, streamline personal finances, and learn how to invest and budget. The Beautiful Money program is based on the simple but powerful premise that in order to achieve true wealth, you must connect and align your inner self with clear and specific external actions. Based on Leanne Jacobs’s popular Beautiful Money course, this book shows you how to connect in a deep and meaningful way with yourself and your money. Beautiful Money takes a holistic approach to increasing net worth.
