Hi Nadya,
I’ve just got back from yoga class and it’s come to my awareness that my elbow hurts a bit. I think it’s tendonitis because it hurts when i move it in certain ways and i’ve been practicing hand stands a lot recently. I was just wondering are there any ayurvedic rememdies like oils that I can use to relieve the irritation?
Thankyou, Becky.
p.s im the girl who got caught in class on your blog
Hey Becky, hope you didn’t get in trouble in class! It was a funny story though! I couldn’t help but smile:).
Banyan Botanicals has an amazing Joint Balm. It worked magic on my sister’s joints! I interviewed Scott, the founder, for spinach and yoga this past spring. They work really hard to make sure all their products are high quality and effective. You can get it on http://www.banyanbotanicals.com or through amazon.
Hope it helps! Make sure you take a break from the inversions for a bit, too!
I have IBS. I am in a terrible situation. Please help.
Thanks,
Araceli
Hello Nadya,
I have been aware of ayurveda for a number of years and try to incorporate a few tenants into my life. Lately, I want to do more, particularly with eating. Can you recommend, present company accepted of course, a food coach or program that I could learn from? If I have typed myself correctly I am Vata dominate with Pitta second.
Oops, I hit return my mistake.
I wanted to add…
Thank you,
Namaste
Hi thankyou for the food combination info. For butternut squash, I mixed coconut oil and lemon with it and I don’t know if it is a good combination.
What could mix with butternut squash to aid digestion but also decrease pitta heat?
Erika, you can try adding ground flax seeds for digestion stimulating effect and cardamon as a cooling spice!
